Robert J. Rock has been dealing with complex financial, corporate and commercial issues since his admission to the New York State Bar in 1982. Throughout his legal career, Bob has represented clients all across New York including in each of the four United States District Courts and the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals. As a part of Tully Rinckey’s commitment to international growth, Bob sat for the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Tests and has been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors to practice law in Ireland. He brings to bear his extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters to assist and guide firm clients on both sides of the Atlantic, particularly U.S. clients that do or wish to do business in Ireland and the UK as well as clients here that do or wish to do business in the U.S.
Bob was previously managing partner of the Albany and New York City offices of Tully Rinckey PLLC, but is now focusing on servicing the firm’s cross-border clients as part of Tully Rinckey’s global expansion. He continues to be involved in complex commercial transactions and litigation at the firm. Tully Rinckey PLLC is a full-service law firm with 10 offices spanning the United States. Bob received a juris doctorate from Albany Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from LeMoyne College. In addition to Ireland, his admissions include the New York State Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected as one of America’s Best Lawyers.
